There are two key aspects to our work. On the one hand, we are a not-for-profit organisation creating new media content such as our first film "Fezeka's Voice", whilst on the other hand, we are a separate charitable organisation (registered charity status pending) solely committed to the educational outreach of our films and other content in line with our objectives. Both organisations are separate structures run independently of each other, but with a common passion.
We are:
KATHERINE CRAWLEY
comes from a background in international press and communications working with third world governments and major corporations. Deeply affected by her experiences, she became involved in socially conscious, politically aware filmmaking and its role as a tool for social change. She has worked with some of the UKs most well-reputed and promising new directors, scooping a number of awards along the way, becoming part of a new movement of social entrepreneurs using media for outreach and community engagement.
JOANNE FISHBURN
comes from a diverse history in both feature film production and financing as well as documentary filmmaking. She has worked on projects for leading companies in North America, including HBO and Buena Vista, as well as National Film Board of Canada, History Television and Discovery.
HOLLY LUBBOCK
has achieved success as an editor and then director with some of the UKs top production companies making programmes and award winning documentaries spanning an array of subjects; from arts and culture to the human condition.
COLIN MALTBY
was originally a lighting designer for international theatre and dance, but then changed direction and is now an international trusts and finance lawyer, working on high level projects worldwide. He trained at Theodore Goddard, went on to become a partner at Blake Lapthorn, and then director of the in-house legal team at Stonehage.
GILLIAN ANDERSON
We are very proud that the Hollywood film star, Gillian Anderson has agreed to be our ambassador. Gillian is a great supporter of many good causes and she brings a wealth of passion to our project.
Our history is littered with inspirational figures that fought for our human rights, now it's time to draw on timely vision and indigenous wisdom and recognize the inherent rights of our planet.
All contributions to All Living Things go towards creating social issue-based media and effecting real change through outreach and community engagement.
